Membership Meetings

Thanks to all who attended the August meeting!  One of the largest groups we have ever had!  Our guest speaker, Congressman Mo Brooks, provided a very interesting and informative brief and, afterwards, he fielded many questions. Thanks Congressman Brooks!

The September meeting will be on Wednesday, September 25th, at 1100 at the Summit Club on Redstone Arsenal. Our guest speaker will be Ms. Rae Barthel, Activities Director at the Tut Fann Veterans Home.  Lunch will be a small buffet featuring pulled pork and baked chicken.  Cost is $15 at the door for members and their guests and $20 for non-members.  If you plan to eat, please RSVP NLT September 21st to CDR Christine Downing, 256-828-9740, csdowning@bellsouth.net.  We must have an accurate headcount to provide to the Summit Club ahead of time. As always, if you don't plan to eat, there will be plenty of seating and an RSVP is not necessary. Please join us for what should be a very informative meeting!

Our next Breakfast Gathering will be September 14th at 0900 at the City Cafe Diner on Drake Ave. Come join us for some good chow and stimulating conversation with your HCMOAA friends!

If you are interested in getting one of those great stylish MOAA name badges that you see many of us wearing at our meetings, here is the link.  If you are a Life Member (including Surviving Spouse Life Members) of National MOAA, style 3-BN (3-AN for Surviving Spouses) is the badge for you.  Style 2-DN (2-CN for Surviving Spouses) is the right choice for non-Life Members of National MOAA.  If you have questions about which badge to get, contact our Webmaster.

Any questions about the website, contact our Webmaster, CAPT Rick West, using the CONTACT US link to the right.
