Our first meeting will be Wednesday, April 29th. The meeting will be in the Weeden Grill at The Links at Redstone. Meeting will start at 1200, but you all are invited to join us early for lunch from the grill! This is a great opportunity to volunteer a small amount of time to a superb cause! See you there! Membership Meetings I hope you all enjoyed March’s luncheon as much as I
did. I appreciate Dr. Fritz taking the
time to give some insight as to what is going on in the world of Biotechnology! Thanks to John Fairlamb for
arranging the guest speaker! Our next membership luncheon is also our annual Gold Bar
Ceremony. As previously announced: to deconflict with the cadets’
final exams, we have moved the luncheon date up 1 week to April 22nd. We have invited all the graduating ROTC Seniors and their
instructors. Our guest speaker will be MG Kevin Meisler – AMC Chief of
Staff. As the many of you that have attended in the past know, this is
always a very inspiring ceremony and the opportunity to interact with our
newest and soon to be commissioned officers is always a wonderful experience.
RSVPs are open – We need to get the numbers up
ASAP due to the accelerated date of the luncheon and short RSVP period. Please RSVP to John Vanderbleek at jvbleek78@gmail.com or
256.893.1565. See further information in the Sentinel –
remember to bring family and friends – and even guests! If you are interested in getting one of those great stylish MOAA name badges that you see many of us wearing at our meetings, here is the link.
